At RockBuster® we manufacture and sell water well drilling rigs. Our drilling rigs are very portable and easy to operate, but yet robust to handle everyday drilling. We build our rigs to utilize the mud rotary technique with the on board mud pump. Or using DTH Hammer for those hard rock layers by plugging there external compressor into the rig. Customers who have bought the RockBuster® flagship model, the R100, has shipped this unit to many places around the world. There are RockBuster® drilling rigs in many areas around the world.

RockBuster® Water Well Drilling Machines

RockBuster® Water Well Drilling machines are fabricated right here in Jewett, Texas-USA. The steel used on the frames and drill mast is sourced here in the USA. Most of it from the steel mill located in our own little town of Jewett, Texas. Standard engines are industrial Kubota diesel engines. Hydraulics are high quality Danfoss pumps and motors. All units have on board hydraulic powered Mud Pumps (on its own circuit). The swivels are of high quality and can be repacked with seals and bearings when needed, and can handle water or air (up to 700psi). These portable drilling machines have come a long way since we started manufacturing these RockBuster® rigs. We also continue to look for new technology to implement into these units. While relying a lot on feedback from past clients as well as industry experts.

RockBuster® R100 Water Well Drill Rig

The RockBuster® R100 is our most popular water well drill rig. This model is rated for 800ft (240m) at 8in (200mm) bore, but has turned up to 12in (304mm) drag bits. We have built many of the R100 and sent to many places here in North America as well as many countries in Africa and South America. RockBuster® R100T – Truck Mounted Drilling Rig

The RockBuster® R100T, Truck Mounted Drilling Rig, has the same specifications as the R100 towable model, but just fabricated to be mounted onto the frame of a truck. Most clients provide us with their choice of truck. We do recommend nothing smaller then a truck with specifications of the Ford F550. These models come with hydraulic leveling jacks.
